Halyk Foundation has become the main sponsor of a karate tournament

On December 23, 2023, Almaty became the epicenter of martial arts. The tournament brought together 700 athletes from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. The Almaty sports complex “Dostyk” hosted the international tournament in karate of all styles “Bel-Bilek” among children and teenagers for two days in a row.
More than 700 athletes aged 5 to 17 years from seven countries took part in the competition dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Iran, Azerbaijan, Astana, Almaty, Abay, Zhetysu, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Karaganda regions.



The general sponsor of the tournament, organized by the republican public association “Karate Federation of All Styles of Kazakhstan”, was the Halyk charity foundation.
Galymbek Zhaksylykov, director of the branch of the Khalyk charity foundation in Almaty region, noted the enormous role of sports in stimulating children to discipline and perseverance.
“Supporting youth sports is very important. We believe that the first steps our children take today will lead to great victories tomorrow. Through initiatives like these, we are preparing a new generation to represent Kazakhstan on the world stage. The Halyk Foundation prioritizes projects that contribute to the country’s development, particularly in education, sports, and social welfare.”

The executive director of the Kazakhstan Federation of Karate of All Styles Talgar Akhmadiev especially emphasized that such events arouse interest among young people, foster unity and professional competition, emphasizing that the Halyk Charity Foundation plays a key role in the development of sports and support for young people.
