The Halyk Group will allocate one billion tenge to assist Kazakh citizens affected by the floods.

Halyk Bank and the Halyk Charity Foundation made a joint decision to allocate one billion tenge from their own funds to help Kazakhstanis affected by the floods.
The management of the Halyk financial group and the Halyk Foundation, founded by Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, expressed hope that this step, together with support measures from the state, as well as with the participation of all concerned citizens and business representatives, will help people recover from the consequences of natural disasters as quickly as possible.
Mass floods in Aktobe, Kostanay, West Kazakhstan, Akmola, Atyrau, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan, Almaty, Pavlodar, Ulytau and Abay regions have led to the flooding of homes of residents of these regions. To date, more than 12 thousand people have been evacuated and placed in temporary accommodation centers.
