Halyk Charitable Fund and Halyk Bank Allocate One Billion Tenge to Assist Kazakh Citizens Affected by Floods

Halyk Bank and the Halyk Charitable Fund made a joint decision to allocate one billion tenge from their own funds to help Kazakhstanis affected by the floods.
As part of its aid efforts, the Halyk Charitable Fund provided financial support to address the aftermath of the floods. The fund financed the construction of a 21-kilometer dam, assisted with the purchase of sewage trucks, and supplied gasoline and diesel fuel. Additionally, motor pumps, sandbags, shovels, power banks, flashlights, rubber clothing, sleeping mats, gloves, and food supplies were purchased and delivered.

In these difficult times, when the elements have left hundreds of families homeless, the Halyk Charitable Fund and Halyk Bank have become a source of support for residents of the affected regions. Substantial assistance has already been directed toward providing basic necessities and restoring the affected areas. We believe in the power of solidarity and continue working to restore what was lost and offer hope for a new beginning.
The management of the Halyk financial group and the Halyk Charitable Fund, founded by Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, expressed hope that this step—alongside state support measures and the participation of concerned citizens and business representatives—will help people recover from the consequences of natural disasters as quickly as possible.
