The Halyk Group has allocated one billion tenge to assist Kazakh citizens affected by the floods

Halyk Bank and the Halyk Charity Foundation made a joint decision to allocate one billion tenge from their own funds to help Kazakhstanis affected by the floods.
As part of its aid efforts, the Halyk Fund provided financial support to address the aftermath of the floods. The fund financed the construction of a 21-kilometer dam, assisted with the purchase of sewage trucks, and supplied gasoline and diesel fuel. Additionally, motor pumps, sandbags, shovels, power banks, flashlights, rubber clothing, sleeping mats, gloves, and food supplies were purchased and delivered.

In these difficult times, when the elements have left hundreds of families homeless, the Halyk Foundation and Halyk Bank are becoming a support for residents of the affected regions. Immeasurable support has already been directed at providing the basic necessities and restoring the affected areas. We believe in the power of solidarity and continue to work to return what was lost and give hope for a new beginning.
The management of the Halyk financial group and the Halyk Foundation, founded by Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, expressed hope that this step, together with support measures from the state, as well as with the participation of all concerned citizens and business representatives, will help people recover from the consequences of natural disasters as quickly as possible.
