The Halyk Charitable Fund Supports the Development of Youth Football in Rural Areas

The national team continues to surprise Kazakhstanis with sensational victories! At this rate, we may soon see our football players at the World Cup. But to get there, it’s essential to develop children’s and youth sports—especially in rural areas.
This is exactly what the Halyk Charitable Fund is doing in partnership with the AuylFootball project. Together, they organized the Halyk Open Cup tournament, which brought together more than 200 children from various parts of the Almaty Region.

This tournament is not just a competition—it’s a valuable platform for showcasing talent and gaining experience for young athletes. The children demonstrated incredible perseverance and passion for football.

The standout teams were Almaly, Karakystak, and Ken Dala, who took the top spots. However, the most important outcome is that the most talented players will now have the opportunity to continue their football careers in the DUFL League of Almaty, thanks to the support of the fund.

The Halyk Open Cup is a step toward equal opportunities in sports for all children, regardless of their place of residence or financial situation. It’s a chance to become part of a larger football family and build a future through sport.
