The Halyk Foundation supported the ‘Inclusive Tourism’ project of the Center for Social Inclusive Programs (CSIP) in Almaty

The format of the project itself is a unique direction in Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the project, the Center for Social and Informal Development (CSIP) with the support of the Halyk Foundation organized four trips for children with special needs to the Yuzhny and Edelweiss recreation centers.

The project successfully implemented a format for interaction between children with autism, children with Down syndrome, and neurotypical children. Integrating all the children allowed them to communicate freely and learn from one another. Spending time together created a relaxed environment, enabling the children to see and accept each other regardless of their differences. This, in turn, helps build a true sense of community.

The children had a varied and rich entertainment program at the summer camp. The children were able to participate in sports competitions, inclusive relay races, master classes and much more. All the children had a great time and enjoyed their leisure time with each other to the fullest. The Inclusive Tourism project proved that all children are equal and can develop together.
