The Halyk Charitable Fund Provided Financial Support for the Astana Akimat’s JOLTAP Social Project

As part of the JOLTAP project, 10 modular points called “A Chance for All” were opened in areas with a high concentration of residents in the capital.

Consultants at the modular centers provide information on housing programs, business grants, social assistance, and employment opportunities. Over one and a half months of operation, more than 3,000 people sought help from the akimat under 52 government support measures. Among them, 720 people applied for non-repayable financial aid and microloans to start their own businesses.

As part of the JOLTAP project, city residents also have the opportunity to receive free education through two short-term programs. The first program is designed to train skilled workers according to industry standards and employer requirements in fields such as trade, construction, and services—including professions like seamstress and cashier. The second program, called “Freelance Opportunity,” focuses on teaching in-demand and popular digital skills.

Thanks to the JOLTAP project in Astana, more than 10,000 people will become certified specialists in the digital sphere. The project represents an effective system created through the joint efforts of the state, business, and society.
