The First Cohort of UEFA Category D Coach Training Has Begun

In Almaty, within the framework of the AuylFootball project, the first stream of advanced training for UEFA Category D coaches was launched in December 2023. The general sponsor of the project is the Halyk Charitable Fund.
The opening of the first training stream was attended by Galymbek Zhaksylykov, Director of the Almaty Regional Branch of the Halyk Charitable Fund, and Serik Mambetov, Head of the AuylFootball project.

The first cohort includes 20 trainers from the Akmola, Zhambyl, Turkestan, Almaty, and Zhetysu regions. As part of the qualification course, trainers are taught by professors and professional coaches specializing in this field. The course includes a variety of theoretical and practical methods.
“In the next three months, 100 coaches from rural communities will be trained across the republic. We will also provide 100 teams from rural communities with the necessary equipment,” noted Galymbek Zhaksylykov at the opening of the event.
Today, 39 teams have been To date, 39 teams have already been provided with the necessary sports equipment and gear. In addition, within the framework of the AuylFootball project, 17 competitions are planned for 2024.



It is worth recalling that in November 2023, Serik Mambetov and Galymbek Zhaksylykov signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development of football in populated areas. The above events are organized within the framework of this memorandum with the support of the Halyk Charitable Fund.
