Social housing in Astana
In order to provide housing to needy families and support the population, the Halyk Foundation financed the construction of social housing in Astana in the amount of 11.2 billion tenge.
The first step in the implementation of this project was the conclusion of a memorandum with the Akimat of Astana.
Thus, following the results of the memorandum, a modern residential complex of the Comfort class level was built, consisting of 11 blocks from 9 to 17 floors in the area of the new Nurly-Zhol railway station. The total area of the apartments is more than 20 thousand square meters, the total cost of the apartments is about 6.9 billion tenge.
This significant step became an important moment in improving living conditions for 400 Kazakh families.
The apartments have all the utilities, they are delivered in a finished state and ready for occupancy. The courtyard of the residential complex “Compass North” is fully landscaped and has its own developed infrastructure: the territory is closed to outsiders, there is video surveillance, children’s and sports grounds, recreation areas and walking alleys.
The first apartments under this memorandum were already delivered in 2023.
It is important to note that the final owners of new housing are determined by the Akimat of Astana. The Halyk Fund does not participate in this matter.
Undoubtedly, for these families, receiving apartments became a symbol of hope and new opportunities. The families received not only a roof over their heads, but also a sense of stability and confidence in the future.
By providing people with decent living conditions, the Halyk Foundation, together with the Akimat of Astana, creates the foundations for the sustainable development and prosperity of our society.
