Altyn-Tumar Kindergarten and The I. Zhurba Secondary School

In 2019, the Halyk Charitable Fund, together with business partners from the Halyk Group, allocated funding for the restoration of the Altyn-Tumar Kindergarten and the I. Zhurba Secondary School in the city of Arys, which had been severely damaged by a man-made disaster.

Repair and construction work was carried out around the clock, with approximately 100 workers involved in restoring the I. Zhurba school building. The total cost of the restoration exceeded one billion tenge.

In addition, the Halyk Charitable Fund provided over 130 million tenge in charitable assistance to the Central District Hospital of Arys for the purchase of essential medical equipment. This new equipment enables the hospital to deliver a full range of medical services, including emergency and planned surgeries, childbirth, and routine care.

The equipment purchased includes an operating table, infusion and syringe pumps, a neonatal incubator, a phototherapy unit, pediatric medical heaters, a mammography system, hospital beds, ventilators, Bionet patient monitors, and more. In total, more than 30 units of advanced medical equipment were procured from manufacturers in South Korea, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland.
