Construction of a Kindergarten in Kostanay Region

In the Auliekol district of the Kostanay region, where the construction of 91 new homes is underway for families affected by devastating forest fires, a new kindergarten for 280 children has been built. A total of 1.3 billion tenge was allocated for its construction.

The Kostanay region suffered significant material and economic losses due to the fires. Nearly 100 homes were destroyed, and the lives and safety of local residents were at serious risk. In response, the government has been actively working to address the aftermath of the disaster and support affected communities.

The tragedy united people across Kazakhstan—citizens, business leaders, and public figures alike—who came together to help. As part of this nationwide effort, the Halyk Charitable Fund, by decision of its Board of Trustees, contributed to the recovery efforts.

“We sincerely sympathize with all the victims and hope that our support will help them recover from this tragedy and return to normal life as soon as possible,” read the Fund’s official statement.

In October 2024, the newly built kindergarten opened its doors to 280 children between the ages of one and five, offering a safe and nurturing environment for early childhood development.
