Charity is an important factor in the maturity of society. Social assistance and charitable support for vulnerable groups say a lot about the level of development of any country, including Kazakhstan. Recall: only according to official data, the poverty level in Kazakhstan is estimated at 5.3% — this is the share of the population with incomes below the subsistence minimum. In fact, the situation may be even worse. All these people, as well as groups such as large families, families in which people with special needs live, and others, need special support measures from both the state and socially responsible citizens and enterprises.
Positive changes in terms of charity are observed in the Republic of Kazakhstan. So, for example, according to the Vice-Minister of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Daniyar Kadirov, over the past two years the number of charitable organizations has increased by 20% and exceeded 1 thousand, informs inform.kz The scale of social work of large charitable foundations is very large. In recent years, priority areas of charity have been helping orphans (54.31%) and children with serious illnesses (48.8%).
