Halyk Charitable Fund Launches National GreenAct Eco-Challenge

The Halyk Charitable Fund has launched GreenAct, a nationwide environmental challenge that invites every resident of Kazakhstan to contribute personally to greening efforts and improving the environment.

GreenAct is more than just a project—it’s a nationwide challenge to turn words into action. Plant a tree, green a yard, beautify a school campus, or create a community garden—now all of these efforts are part of one unified movement under the slogan:

“Here is my GreenAct, where is yours?”

The project inspires people of all ages in Kazakhstan—from schoolchildren to business leaders—to take meaningful, eco-friendly action and share their efforts on social media, helping to build a culture of doing, not just promising.

“GreenAct reflects a sense of responsibility for your country. These are actions that deliver results here and now. When you plant a tree, you leave a mark not on the internet, but in the soil of your homeland,” commented the Halyk Charitable Fund.

How to participate?

1. Do any greening activity: plant a tree, arrange a flower bed, decorate a public space.
2. Take a photo or video of the process.
3. Publish on social networks with hashtags:

The project is being implemented with the support of the NNEF educational foundation, which actively involves students and schoolchildren across the country. Motivational videos, challenges with famous bloggers and valuable gifts for participation are also provided.

GreenAct is your green footprint. Show yours.
