Graduates of Miras schools have been admitted on scholarships to leading universities around the world.

They received offers from the universities of Oxford, Manchester, Glasgow, London, New York, Turin, Hong Kong, and other prestigious institutions
Graduates of Miras schools from Almaty and Astana achieved outstanding results in the International Baccalaureate (IB) exams. A total of 190,000 students from various countries awaited the results, including 30 Miras graduates.
As a rule, only 8% of Diploma Programme (DP) graduates worldwide score 40 points or higher in the IB. Miras students Zhansaya Bekeyeva, Yersultan Yerkebulanuly, Togzhan-Victoria Madiyar, and Aidana Seitenova scored 42, 41, 41, and 40 points respectively out of a possible 45. This means that the doors to the world’s top universities are open to them. For example, the entry threshold for the University of Oxford is 38 points, and for the University of Cambridge — 36.

It is worth highlighting Zhansaya Bekeyeva — a student who studied on a full scholarship from the Halyk Charitable Foundation of Timur Kulibayev. The founder of this scholarship program is the NNEF Public Foundation. She scored 42 points and received offers from six universities in the USA and China. Zhansaya chose the Chinese University of Hong Kong and will continue her studies in Hong Kong.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the NNEF Foundation and the Halyk Foundation for giving me the opportunity to study at Miras School under the IB program. These two years have been an important stage in my life — the IB program not only gave me academic knowledge but also taught me to think critically and work in a team”, said Adiya.

Yersultan Yerkebulanuly (recipient of a full scholarship from the Halyk Charitable Foundation of Timur Kulibayev) scored 41 points. He received an offer from the University of Oxford to study Electrical Engineering and is entering one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

About Miras Schools
Miras Schools were founded in 1999 and are branches of the NNEF Public Foundation, established by Dinara Kulibayeva. The schools are authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization for three programs: Primary Years (kindergarten – grade 5), Middle Years (grades 6–10), and Diploma Programme (grades 11–12). Today, there are 661 such schools worldwide, with 4 in Kazakhstan.

About the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) was established in 1968, designed for students aged 16–19, and is recognized by 5,000 universities in more than 100 countries worldwide. Instruction is conducted entirely in English and is aimed at the comprehensive development of students.
The program focuses not only on academic achievement but also on the development of emotional and social competence, contributing to the well-rounded growth of the individual — CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). It requires deep understanding and analysis of material, helping students develop analytical skills and critical thinking abilities that are valuable in any academic or professional context — TOK (Theory of Knowledge). The program also fosters self-organization, time management, and independent learning skills, promotes intercultural understanding and global awareness, and prepares students for education in an international environment.
Upon graduation, Miras school students receive two documents: a Certificate of General Secondary Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and an International Baccalaureate diploma. The high results achieved in the DP exams allow students not only to be admitted to prestigious universities but also to receive significant grants and scholarships, opening doors for Kazakhstani graduates to the world’s top academic institutions.
