Graduates of Miras schools have received scholarships to leading universities around the world.

Graduates of Miras schools received scholarship offers from leading universities in Oxford, Manchester, Glasgow, London, New York, Turin, Hong Kong, and other prestigious institutions.
Students from Miras schools in Almaty and Astana achieved outstanding results in the International Baccalaureate (IB) exams. Among the 190,000 students worldwide awaiting results, 30 were Miras graduates.
Typically, only 8% of students in the IB Diploma Programme score 40 points or higher. Miras students Zhansaya Bekeyeva, Yersultan Yerkebulanuly, Togzhan-Victoria Madiyar, and Aidana Seitenova scored 42, 41, 41, and 40 points respectively out of a possible 45. These scores open doors to the world’s top universities—for example, the entry threshold for the University of Oxford is 38 points, and for the University of Cambridge, 36.

It’s worth highlighting Zhansaya Bekeyeva, a student who studied on a full scholarship from the Halyk Charitable Fund of Timur Kulibayev. About Miras Schools
Miras Schools were founded in 1999 and are branches of the NNEF Public Foundation, established by Dinara Kulibayeva. The schools are authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer three programs: the Primary Years Programme (kindergarten through grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (grades 6–10), and the Diploma Programme (grades 11–12). Today, there are 661 IB-authorized schools worldwide, including four in Kazakhstan.

About the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP), established in 1968, is designed for students aged 16–19 and is recognized by over 5,000 universities in more than 100 countries worldwide. Instruction is conducted entirely in English and focuses on the comprehensive development of students.
The program emphasizes not only academic achievement but also emotional and social growth through CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). It requires deep understanding and analysis of material, helping students develop analytical and critical thinking skills that are valuable in both academic and professional settings—this is supported by the TOK (Theory of Knowledge) component. The IB DP also fosters self-organization, time management, and independent learning, while promoting intercultural understanding and global awareness, preparing students for education in an international environment.
Upon graduation, Miras students receive two credentials: the Certificate of General Secondary Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Baccalaureate diploma. Their strong performance in the DP exams not only enables admission to prestigious universities but also opens access to substantial grants and scholarships, paving the way for Kazakhstani graduates to study at the world’s top academic institutions.
