Another ‘Youth House’ for the residents of SOS Children’s Villages Kazakhstan

Caring for children in difficult life situations is not limited by time. The SOS Children’s Villages of Kazakhstan Foundation and the founders of the Halyk Foundation, Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, show this by their example.

A four-room apartment was purchased for the children of the Temirtau Children’s Village in Karaganda. The Halyk Foundation allocated 51 million tenge for its purchase.

Now the guys who study in colleges and universities of Karaganda will not have to waste time on the road. In the “House of Youth” all comfortable conditions have been created, the housing is furnished and equipped. And most importantly, the guys’ mentors will always be nearby. The college can be reached in just 20 minutes.

This is not the first “Youth House” opened by “SOS Children’s Villages of Kazakhstan”. And with the support of the “Halyk” foundation, in 2019, two apartments were allocated in Almaty for the accommodation of SOS families with children left without parental care.

It should be noted that the founders of the SOS Children’s Villages of Kazakhstan Foundation – the NNEF public foundation – have been actively supporting social projects and programs to support children and young people since 2018.
