Founder
Dinara Kulibayeva is the co-founder of the Halyk Charitable Fund and a distinguished educator and philanthropist.
Since establishing the Foundation in 2016 with her husband Timur Kulibayev, she has led a wide range of educational and cultural initiatives in Kazakhstan and abroad, with a focus on long-term, systemic impact.
Dinara Kulibayeva’s work is rooted in a belief that philanthropy should be both strategic and scalable. Under her leadership, the Foundation has supported transformative programs such as SOS Children’s Villages Kazakhstan and Miras schools, helping to introduce internationally recognized models of care and education to communities across Kazakhstan.
As Chair of the Board of Trustees at SOS Children’s Villages Kazakhstan, Mrs. Kulibayeva oversees a network of 11 family-style villages, designed to provide stable, nurturing environments for orphans and children without parental care. These villages are based on the globally successful SOS model and are funded by Halyk Charitable Fund.
A mother and lifelong educator, Dinara Kulibayeva champions the transformative power of education. She believes every child deserves the opportunity to build a life beyond their current circumstances - and works tirelessly to make that vision a reality.
Since its inception, Halyk Charitable Foundation has delivered charitable assistance totaling more than 85 billion tenge, making a significant impact across Kazakhstan. Dinara Kulibayeva provides mentorship, strategic input and leadership to make this possible.
