A New 280-Seat Kindergarten Opens in Auliekol with Support from the Halyk Charitable Fund

A new three-story kindergarten has opened in the Auliekol district of the Kostanay Region, offering high-quality preschool education to 280 children. Built with the support of the Halyk Charitable Fund, the facility spans over 4,000 square meters and is equipped with modern, child-friendly infrastructure.
The opening marks a major milestone for the region, which was heavily affected by wildfires in 2022. The Halyk Fund, led by Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, allocated 1.3 billion tenge for the construction and equipment of the kindergarten. This follows earlier support in 2024, when the Fund contributed 100 million tenge toward flood recovery efforts in the region.
“The construction of a kindergarten is not just help—it’s a long-term investment in the region’s future,”
— Nariman Abilshaikov, Managing Director of the Halyk Charitable Fund

The building features spacious play and sleeping areas, music rooms, a modern kitchen, and safe outdoor playgrounds. Designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind, the facility uses eco-friendly materials and meets high safety standards.
“Creating a high-quality educational environment for children is our priority. This project shows how government, business, and civil society can work together for the common good,”
— Kumar Aksakalov, Akim of the Kostanay Region

The kindergarten is a model of successful collaboration between public and private sectors, demonstrating how strategic philanthropy can improve living conditions and support early childhood development.
