The Halyk Foundation could not leave aside those who were directly on the front lines and selflessly resisted the infection, because our medical workers are real heroes.

Despite the enormous workload, the risk of infection, the unknown nature of the virus and the mental stress, they held the line, fighting for the lives and health of Kazakhstanis.

In gratitude, from March to May 2020, the Fund made cash payments to medical workers in the amount of 117,707,898 tenge.

Also in April 2020, the Fund provided hot meals to medical workers and police officers deployed at checkpoints in Zhanaozen, for a total of 1,332,000 tenge.

In May 2020, personal protective equipment worth 20,010,000 tenge was purchased for the needs of Almaty.
