The Halyk Charity Foundation acted as the general sponsor of the 1st Republican Art-Eco-Festival “AlALA”, organized by the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives together with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the eve of the festival, a republican creative competition was held among schoolchildren of grades 8, 9, 10 from all over the republic on environmental topics. From the 250 works received, the jury members selected the best 36 projects in six categories:

• visual art
• performance
• video making
• decorative and applied arts
• music and poetry
• art performance

The festival brought together students from different regions of Kazakhstan. They are united by love for the Motherland, talent, creativity, hard work and a caring attitude towards the environmental situation in the country.

The Halyk Charity Foundation acted as the general sponsor of this event and awarded the winners with large cash prizes.

Support for such events is one of the foundation’s programs for solving important social problems. The Halyk Foundation strives to create equal and accessible opportunities for all children in Kazakhstan and to prove themselves in the fields of education, sports, culture and art.
