The Halyk Foundation donated 20 children’s playgrounds, 20 workout areas, and six football fields to the Mangistau region

The private charitable foundation “Halyk” continues its support of the Mangistau region. In 2022, the Foundation has already built 16 children’s playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as four football fields in the city of Zhanaozen.

Given the high demand for sports grounds, safe spaces for play, active physical development of children and promotion of a healthy lifestyle, in 2023 the Halyk Foundation additionally built 20 children’s playgrounds, 20 workout areas and six football fields in Zhanaozen and nearby villages.

On October 20, 2023, the opening of the first ten children’s sports and playgrounds and six football fields took place in Zhanaozen. In December 2023, all playgrounds and football fields were transferred by the Halyk Foundation of the Mangistau region. This became a gift to the city residents for the 55th anniversary of the city of Zhanaozen. The total budget of the project was 415 million tenge.

This is just one of the areas of social activity of the Halyk charity foundation in Zhanaozen and the Mangistau region.

In August, the Foundation and the regional akimat signed a series of memorandums under which the Foundation will finance the restoration of the Beyneu grain terminal, the construction of a desalination plant in Zhanaozen, the construction of a water desalination plant in Akshukur village of the Tupkaragan district, and a sports and fitness complex in Zhanaozen. In total, 3.55 billion tenge is planned to be allocated for these projects.
